Capitalizing on Overseas Real Estate Investment Opportunities

Client had decided to exit the UK property market due to changes in taxation and MEES (Minimum Energy Effciiency Standards). He was interested in real estate abroad solely for investment purposes. Rumi referred to a specialist accountant who advised about options in Dubai Real Estate. Due to relationships with agents and developers in the region, we were able to secure discounted pricing on a pre-release basis for an apartment in prime Business Bay area. This would allow the client to achieve ROI of approx 70% within an 18 month period. Project is currently on track to achieve these returns and client is looking to sell more of his UK portfolio to take advantage of the strong Dubai property market.
